Over 25 alumni came from all over the U.S. to participate in the festivites. While the current ASU team may be a little discouraged by the 61-7 thrashing they received from the game vs. "old devils", everyone enjoyed the revived camaraderie between new and old ruggers.

The weekend started with a kick off drink-up at Casey Moore's Oyster House deep in the heart of downtown Tempe. The drink-up was very low key since everyone had to prepare for the ASU vs Alumni game on Saturday morning. After said annhilation (see score above) everyone enjoyed a "old-school" social in the park, complete with home made food, drinking games, and man of the match awards.

Festivities continued Saturday night at the Alumni Bar Golf event, sponsored by Epic Events! Dressed in their best Jack Nicklaus attire, the alumni hopped from bar to bar on Mill Ave, reliving their glory days at ASU. Each golfer tried to make "Par" or better at every location so they could be crowned victor and take home the one of a kind ASU Alumni Bar Golfing trophy. The weekend concluded with a Barry Carter Appreciation Day at Four Peaks Brewery in Scottsdale. Barry Carter has been the head coach for the ASU Rugby team since 1997 so to pay homage to his dedication to the club was an auspicious way to end the weekend.

That's right the new tradition that is sweeping the nation. Saturday after Thanksgiving is now deemed the ideal day to support your local small business entrepreneurs.

This year will be the 2nd annual Small Business Saturday which was created in effort to help fuel the economy. Since it's inception the cause has gained a lot of momentum and support ironically from not-so-small giants such as Google, FedEx, American Express, Dun & Bradstreet, plus others.

The website for Blitzen's X-Mas Bar Crawl is officially open! We've put a lot of work into the event website so be sure to check it out here.

This event promises to be EPIC! We have a number of Scottsdale bars offering drink discounts exclusively to the Blitzen Bar Crawlers.

We'll also be hosting a Ugly Sweater Contest at the end of the night. In order to enter the contest you must be a registered participant.

Football season is in full-swing and what better way to celebrate then with a Football Pubcrawl?

EPIC EVENTs was out in Scottsdale this weekend celebrating a birthday with a unique spin on traditional "Bar-Golfing". The EPIC birthday girl said "I don't like golf, but I like football". So we thought why not play a game of football pubcrawl?! GENIUS!

We drafted players into the NDL (National Drinking League) and had a lot of drinks to gain yards which added up to touchdowns. The player that had the most touchdowns by the end of the night won the championship NDL cup! We don't want to give away all of our details here but we can say this won't be the last football pubcrawl that we're going to do. We had a blast!
